We worked hard this week! So hard I actually fell asleep while reading out loud during studies one day! Just grateful it wasn't during a lesson. In some ways I haven't been this tired since the beginning of my mission but I feel more deeply tired. Spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. It is quite the experience. Parents this goes to...is this how tired you are as a parent?
Anyway we had a baptism this past Wednesday! His name is John. He is just amazing. He came to us and said that he wanted the lessons and was ready at this time in his life. Through the past 8+ years he has struggled with so very much. But he knew that God was preserving him for something greater. And that this church was where he needed to be. To every commitment we extended he has responded, its a small price to pay for what God has given him. I sure love John. He has taught me so much.
We also met with our investigator Rudy this week. He and his wife have both blossomed over the past week. They are truly searching for light and finding it. Sister Stebar and I both sat amazed as he shared with us his relationship that he is developing with our Father in Heaven. He was able to talk with Father very openly and honestly and receive answers and help he has long been looking for. Rudy has become such an example of faith for us.
There were more adventures this past week but I just don't remember them right now! So tired.
We do have a fun musical fireside this Friday evening. Sister Stebar and I put it together with members from both of our wards and the missionaries we serve in the zone with. It is going to be great! Just a good opportunity to have people in the community to come and feel testimonies of Jesus Christ given through music. We are so excited!
Love you all!
