This week has been filled with so much service and getting to see and feel the power of God. Being a missionary is truly an interesting thing, hard thing and the best thing.
Last Monday I was able to have an interview with President Passey about the past few months and the coming few and we set goals. And I am so excited about the growth the Lord has helped me have. I seriously felt the positive changes that have come and I love how this gospel just changes people. And to be able to be changed is a blessing. Then we got to go meet and serve a family who is moving in to one of the wards in the area. They are pretty amazing! And Tuesday we were able to go spend some time with them again between appointments. And that pattern happened all week. Where appointments would cancel or be moved so we would all of a sudden have some time to go and help this family. When the Lord needs His children taken care of, He provides a way for us to do it.
We met with one of our investigators whose progress had slowed down and she expressed how she felt she was hungering after the knowledge we were teaching. But also felt things slowed down. We talked about it and then made a plan! So later in the week we saw her again and had such a sweet experience with her in reviewing the Restoration of the gospel. Her testimony seriously shines through when the Spirit is there. We are trying to help her see that.
So much happened this week. It is such a blessing and honestly a weird thing to be here and let into people's homes daily to talk to them about God. But it is the best message! And it is true. The Savior is the way. He is the light in the darkness we ALL feel at times. And coming unto Him and following Him will always bring us eternal Joy.
I'm happy! But just so exhausted! We have a baptism coming up this Wednesday and I am so excited for this man to make promises with God. Mosiah 18:8-11 is one of the most amazing things because it is truly the desire of his heart to stand as a witness of God.
