Again, I ran out of time and am so sorry! But I love you all!
This past week has been filled with many miracles. But I just am so grateful for the theme that I have learned from them. That the Plan of Salvation is real. That God developed a plan for us and Christ's atonement is central to that plan.
We are teaching a man who is a deist and he was sharing some of his philosophies and he believes in the plan of salvation. He was actually teaching it to us before we were teaching anything. It is amazing how much of this we know, or remember.
The plan of Salvation is real. We existed before we came to this Earth. We grew in knowledge and intelligence and gained a body so we could come to families and learn more. Families are so important.
My testimony of families is growing so much. I am so excited some day to have that experience of a family.
We were able to go to the temple this past Friday and it made this all so much more real. I am so grateful to be where I am at with the joys and the pains. I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love you all!

Joys of Christmas

Happy New Year Everyone!
By the next time you get an e-mail, it will be 2015! What? This past week has been one that I will remember for a very, very long time. It was my very first Christmas away from home. I felt like I had experienced others but only Thanksgiving. This was the first Christmas. But a wise friend told me that on my mission I would have a better Christmas because there would be so much Jesus in them. They were right.

Both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were very powerful days that were filled with experiences that showed how mindful the Lord was of those we get to be with and those we come across each and every day. He helped us work with, find and serve some unexpected people and share the Christmas Spirit with others who had never been caroled to in their lives! :) That was truly joyous!

The mission is seriously the best thing I could be doing with my life. The Lord teaches me so much, mostly how to love, be humble and turn to Him in all things but those things are so powerful. And who knows what will come next through the rest of this journey. But I have really loved all the people I have met. The Lord has amazing children here in Sierra Vista that I get to serve with and serve.

I hope you all had great Christmas experiences with the Savior in your families and really were able to grow towards Him.

Love you all!
